Installation Notes
Shut off the pump and relieve pressure from the filter tank before servicing. Remove the old plug and inspect the O-ring groove and threads for wear or debris. Lubricate the new O-ring with pool-safe lubricant, install the R0358800 plug into the drain port threads and hand-tighten until snug. After restoring normal pressure, inspect for leaks around the plug.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the drain plug and O-ring each service season or any time you open the filter tank. Replace the plug if you notice thread damage, O-ring cracking, leaks, or if the plug shows signs of corrosion or discoloration.
