Installation Notes
Shut off the pool/spa circulation pump. Remove the old jet insert by unscrewing it counter-clockwise. Clean the housing threads and ensure they are clear of debris. Lubricate threads lightly if recommended. Screw in the new 229-8057 insert by turning clockwise until fully seated and snug — do not overtighten. Restore system flow and verify proper jet direction and no leakage around the insert.
Maintenance Tip
At each service interval inspect for wear on the nozzle face, cracks in the body, or looseness in the thread. Replace this insert if water flow is weak, the jet insert moves, or the finish is deteriorated to maintain proper performance and appearance.
