Description
This assembly includes the uni-tension wire clamp with screw and nut, designed to secure the face ring and lens assembly on select underwater pool lights. It ensures a uniform clamp pressure around the lens, maintaining a watertight seal.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits Pentair IntelliBrite 5G color LED in-ground pool lights.
- Also compatible with first-generation IntelliBrite lights, SAM Spectrum Amerlite lights, Amerlite, AmerQuartz, SunBrite II and SunGlow II fixtures.
- Used when the original clamp is corroded, bent, missing hardware, or unable to properly secure the lens assembly.

Installation Notes
Turn off the pool light circuit and lock out breaker before servicing. Remove the existing face ring or retention screws, extract the lens and old clamp, clean lens groove and gasket surface. Install the new 79111000 clamp around the face ring, insert the screw and nut, tighten uniformly until the clamp seats firmly around the lens groove without over-compressing the gasket. Reinstall the light and restore power, then observe for any fogging or water intrusion.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the clamp assembly annually for signs of corrosion, distortion or looseness—especially in saltwater installations. Replace the clamp if the screw shows galling, the loop is misshapen, or the lens is not uniformly seated. Maintaining a proper clamp assures light integrity, prevents seal failure and extends underwater light life.
