Description
A genuine OEM multi-port valve assembly designed for use on 2″ threaded side-mount DE filters including the Pentair FNS, FNS Plus and Nautilus Plus series. Provides all standard positions (Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Closed, Recirculate) including a Winterizing setting.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits Pentair side‐mount DE filters such as FNS, FNS Plus and Nautilus Plus when paired with a 2″ NPT or BSP threaded connection.
- Meets the replacement criteria when the existing valve shows cracks, leaks, or internal wear leading to poor backwash, flow loss or unintended bypass.

Installation Notes
To install, shut off pump and relieve system pressure. Remove the old valve assembly and inspect the filter flange for damage or residue. Apply appropriate thread sealant or Teflon tape to the ports, position the new valve ensuring correct alignment of the handle orientation, tighten to manufacturer recommended torque ratings, reconnect plumbing and restore circulation. Cycle the valve through all positions to verify correct sealing and operation.
Maintenance Tip
Frequently inspect the valve handle, seating surfaces and O-rings during annual service. If you observe reduced throughput, persistent leaks or difficulty switching positions, replacing the 261152 valve restores intended flow path control and prevents premature wear on the filter media and motor pump system.
