Installation Instructions
- Turn off the pump and relieve pressure in the filter system before servicing the valve.
- Remove the existing sight glass by unscrewing from the valve port, taking care with any residual water.
- Remove the old O-ring and clean the seating surface inside the valve port.
- Install the new sight glass with O-ring, ensuring the O-ring is seated fully and the glass threads are aligned correctly.
- Tighten the glass by hand until snug; restore flow and check for leaks around the sight glass area.

Leak around sight glass: Verify the O-ring is seated flat, the port face is clean, and the glass is tightened properly.

No water visible in sight glass during backwash: Ensure the valve is in the correct position and the pool pump is running; the sight glass may not fill in “Filter” position.
