Replacement clear strainer cover designed for Hayward Super Pump models. Allows visual inspection of the strainer basket without removing the lid, improving maintenance efficiency and system monitoring.

Installation Notes
Turn off and lock out pump power before servicing. Relieve system pressure using pump release valve. Remove the existing strainer cover, inspect the O-ring for wear, clean seating surfaces, install the SPX1600D cover, align threads, and hand-tighten until sealed. Re-pressurize system and check for leaks around the lid interface.
Maintenance Tip
During routine service, inspect the clear lid for cracks, hazing or distortion. Replace immediately if water intrusion or reduced visibility occurs. Maintaining a proper cover helps prevent debris bypass and maintains pump efficiency.
