Description
Replacement set of two spring washers designed for selected Hayward Vari-Flo™ and Selecta-Flo™ multiport valves. These washers maintain proper tension and smooth operation of the valve handle mechanism.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits Hayward multiport valve models such as SP0710, SP0710X, SP0711, SP0712, SP0715, SP0716, SP0704, SP0714T and SP0740DE.
- Recommended when the valve handle feels loose, the spring tension is diminished, or during a full valve service/overhaul.
- OEM replacement for systems requiring proper spring washer spacing and performance in the handle assembly.

- Contains two stainless steel (or pool-rated metal) spring washers sized specifically for the handle spring of compatible valves.
- Outer diameter approximately 1-11/16″, inner diameter approximately 1-3/16″, thickness ~1/32″.

Installation Notes
Shut off the pump and relieve pressure in the filter/valve before servicing. Remove the handle and spring assembly per the valve manufacturer instructions, extract the old washers, clean the spring seat area, install the new washers ensuring proper orientation and spacing, reassemble the valve and test for smooth, secure handle operation.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect multiport valve handle play and spring tension annually. If you observe excessive handle looseness, frequent mis-positioning, or internal bypass during valve operation, replacing the washer set helps restore proper performance and prevent premature valve wear.
