Description
A vacuum plate accessory engineered for use with select Hayward skimmers. It mounts over the skimmer basket and allows direct vacuuming of the pool using the hose connection without shutting off the pump.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits Hayward skimmer models SP1090, SP1091 and SP1092 when using a 1¼″ vacuum hose connection.
- Use when the existing vacuum plate is cracked, missing, or no longer seals properly and you want to resume skimmer-based vacuuming.
- Direct replacement for systems originally specifying part number SP11052.

Installation Notes
Turn off the pump and relieve pressure. Remove skimmer lid and basket, clean the basket ring area, place the vacuum plate on top of the skimmer basket into correct position, then replace the skimmer lid. Attach the vacuum hose to the 1¼″ elbow, prime the hose and begin vacuuming. After use, remove the plate, reinstall the skimmer basket, and replace the lid.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the vacuum plate each season for cracks, warping, or sealing failures. Replace if you observe leakage around the skimmer or if the plate no longer holds firm under vacuum to maintain efficient cleaning and prevent debris bypass.
