Installation Instructions
- Turn off pump and relieve pressure before opening the filter tank.
- Remove the old dome and inspect the tank rim and O-ring groove for damage.
- Clean the sealing surfaces, align the new SX244K dome, install the 6-tab clamp and tighten evenly.
- Reconnect the pressure gauge and air relief valve, restore system startup and check for proper sealing and normal pressure.
Troubleshooting

Leak at dome clamp: Check that the O-ring gasket is seated, the dome flange is fully inserted and the clamp tabs are evenly tightened.

Dome won’t seat or clamp tabs don’t align: Verify you have the correct model dome for your filter and that no debris or warped tank rim is preventing fit.

High pressure or poor backwash performance: Confirm dome is sealed properly, laterals are properly seated and valve position is correct.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the dome and clamp annually for cracks, warping or O-ring deterioration. Replace the gasket and ensure the clamp is secure to maintain proper sealing and filter performance.
