Description
Adjustable return wall/floor inlet fitting for in-ground concrete or gunite pools, featuring a spinner valve disc for full range flow adjustment and winterizing capability.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits in-ground concrete, gunite or plaster pools requiring a return inlet fitting with 1½″ FIP (or socket variant) and 2″ MIP connection.
- Use when original inlet is cracked, leaking, worn out, or lacks adjustment for flow direction and volume.
- Direct replacement for wall/floor return inlet applications specifying SP1424 geometry.

Installation Notes
Turn off circulation pump and relieve system pressure. Remove existing return fitting, clean mounting surface and pipe threads, apply compatible pool-rated thread sealant. Insert and hand-tighten the fitting, adjust the spinner valve disc as needed, then secure the grate and verify proper flow direction and adjustment. Restore circulation and check for leaks and correct direction of return water stream.
Maintenance Tip
During annual service, inspect the inlet for cracks, scorer marks, discolored or brittle plastic, and ensure the spinner disc moves freely. Replace the fitting if the grate is broken, the disc is stuck, or the seal around the body is compromised to maintain optimal return flow and pool circulation efficiency.
