Description
This replacement O-ring seals the gauge adapter port on select Hayward filter tanks, ensuring a leak-free connection at the pressure gauge or inspection port.
Compatibility & Fitment
- For use with Hayward Perflex® Extended-Cycle DE filters (EC-50, EC-65, EC-75 series) when the gauge adapter O-ring is worn, leaking, or missing.
- Ideal when pressure gauge removal or filter servicing has disturbed the seal and a replacement O-ring is needed to restore proper function.

Installation Notes
Isolate the filter, relieve pressure and remove the gauge adapter assembly. Remove the old O-ring, clean the groove and surrounding surfaces. Lubricate the new ECX1287 O-ring with pool-safe lubricant, seat it in the groove, re-install the adapter and torque per manufacturer guidelines. Restore system pressure and check for leaks.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the adapter port during each seasonal service. Replace the O-ring if you notice persistent weepage, cracking, flattening or loss of contact. A fresh seal helps maintain proper filter pressure and prevents unexpected pressure loss or water bypass.
