Description
This weir assembly is designed for the Hayward Dyna-Skim series above-ground skimmers. It acts as the floating flap that regulates surface water flow into the skimmer while helping prevent debris bypass.

Installation Notes
Turn off circulation and reduce water flow so the skimmer is not generating suction. Remove the old weir by pulling straight out of the skimmer throat. Clean the cavity and check for warping of skimmer sidewalls, which may cause the flap to bind. Insert the new weir, ensuring the pins engage smoothly and that the flap moves freely without sticking. Resume flow and observe for proper skimming action without debris bypass.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the weir each service visit. Replace if the flap is cracked, stained severely, or no longer floats well. Proper weir action helps maintain optimal skimming efficiency and reduces strain on the pool pump system.
