How the Fasteners Work

The FeherGuard fastening system uses a two-part design to securely attach your solar blanket to connecting straps:

• Strap Plate: The bracket component with slots that the strap threads through
• Plastic Screw: Threads through a small hole in the solar blanket and into the strap plate, creating a secure clamp
• Metal Screw: Attaches the opposite end of the strap directly to the reel tube

Installation Instructions

1. Thread the strap through the slots in the strap plate following the directional arrows on the plate
2. Position the strap plate at the desired location on the solar blanket edge
3. Pierce a small hole through the solar blanket material
4. Insert the plastic screw through the blanket hole and thread it into the strap plate
5. Tighten firmly to secure the strap plate to the blanket
6. Attach the opposite end of the strap to the reel tube using the provided stainless steel screw
7. Repeat for all remaining straps
