Join us with celebrated landscape photographer, Erin Babnik for an early Sunrise Landscape Photowalk up Big Cottonwood Canyon. We'll capture the transitional hues of morning light reflected on iconic rock faces, the winding canyon road, and rumbling spring streams.
Erin will guide you in honing your creative vision and composition design allowing you craft compelling landscape images. Join us for this unforgettable sunrise photowalk to compose stunning landscape images alongside Erin Babnik.
Canon will have loaner lenses and cameras for those interested!
Suggested gear to bring:
- Camera body
- Extra batteries
- Versatile zoom lens (Canon loaner options)
- Sturdy tripod and head
- Cable release/Wireless Remote (Newer cameras can be controlled via apps)
- Backpack to carry photo equipment.
- Warm coat, hat, and gloves (dress for the weather). We'll get started at 5:00am and morning temps can be cold.
- Good pair of boots or shoes. We will be hiking up to our shooting location.
We will meet at the Big Cottonwood Canyon Park n' Ride at 5am where we will caravan up to our shoot location.
This photowalk requires hiking on relatively steep and variable terrain. Therefore, good hiking shoes, a base level of physical fitness, and ability to carry your own gear is required.
