For general over-seeding and lawn repairs, we recommend thoroughly mixing seed with Monhegan Blend„¢ in a wheel-barrow before spreading. This is best done in the fall, when the soil is warm, and rain more consistent. In either case, use a plastic leaf rake to spread the compost evenly.
