Join Pictureline for a wildlife photography experience focused on capturing striking images of Utah’s iconic wild horses!
Guided Photowalk
Date: Saturday, April 18th
Location: Onaqui Mountains Herd Management Area
Participants will meet for a guided field experience photographing wild horses in their natural habitat. Instructors will help you locate herds, position yourself safely, and refine composition, exposure, and focusing techniques in real time. Expect light walking on natural terrain and changing outdoor conditions.
We will be providing a light dinner to eat while staff goes over safety and event briefing. All waste will need to be removed during cleanup to respect leave no trace principles.
Please note—there will be no restrooms so please use use facilities prior to arrival.

Group Size: Limited to maintain a safe and personalized experience.

Skill Level: Beginner to intermediate photographers welcome.

Gear: Although we recommend bringing your own camera and lens, Sony will also be providing telephoto and super telephoto lenses along with cameras to use during the event.

Transportation: Participants will drive personal vehicles to Dugway, UT. We will then carpool via van to Onaqui Mountains Herd Management Area.

Weather: Event operates rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe. Participants will be notified if rescheduling is necessary.

Wildlife Etiquette: Maintaining safe distances from horses is required at all times.
