There were a little over 20 attendees who joined us as we trekked through Farmington Bay to capture images of the local wildlife. Farmington Bay, Utah is home to more than 200 species, and nearly 60 are known to nest there. Some species you'll find in the springtime are Western and Clark’s Grebes, American White Pelicans, White-faced Ibis, Sandhill Cranes, Black-necked Stilts, American Avocets, and Snowy Plovers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n \u003cp\u003eCome join us as we take advantage of the prime wildlife conditions at Farmington Bay using telephoto lenses. We will meet at 7 am in front of the Great Salt Lake Nature Center where everyone will check in. From there, we will separate into three different groups. Please remember to wear a mask. We will have both Canon and Sony cameras and lenses available for attendees who may want a hands-on experience with something new.
