Description
A highly concentrated pool algaecide formulated with 50 % quaternary ammonium compounds (“quat”) designed to treat and inhibit green, black and mustard algae. Ideal for routine maintenance, post-shock treatment, or pool winterization.
Applications
- Treats up to approximately 60,000 gallons per works-size (with proper dosing).
- Can be used during swim season or at closing for algae prevention.
- Compatible with chlorine, bromine, or salt-sanitized pool systems.

Dosage & Directions

Initial dose for algae prevention or mild growth: 1.25 fl. oz per 10,000 gal.

Heavy growth or cleanup dose: Increase proportionally (for example 2–3 fl. oz per 10,000 gal) depending on severity.
- Run the pump continuously for at least 8 hours after application and brush pool surfaces thoroughly.
- Swimmers may return after ~15 minutes of circulation (if pool chemistry within safe limits).
Use Notes
- Ensure pool water is balanced (pH 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity 80-120 ppm, calcium hardness ~200–400 ppm) prior to application for best results.
- Backwash or clean the filter as needed; algae residues will add load to the filtration system.
- This algaecide will not replace sanitizer—maintain appropriate free chlorine or bromine levels.
