Description
Premium replacement gasket designed for multiport valve diverter assemblies. Its five-spoke configuration and ~5-1/8″ outer diameter make it ideal for restoring sealing performance in sand filter or valve systems.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits many 1½″ multiport valves used on sand filters where this size gasket is required.
- Suitable when the existing spider gasket is worn, cut, deformed or leaking bypass water under the valve handle.
- Recommended during valve rebuilds or during servicing of the diverter ring to restore performance and prevent internal bypass.

Installation Notes
Shut off pump and relieve system pressure. Remove the multiport valve handle and cover. Extract the old spider gasket and thoroughly clean the head assembly and spider ring. Seat the G-416 gasket centrally, ensure alignment of the spokes with the ports, re-assemble the cover and handle, and restore pressure. Operate the valve through all positions to confirm proper seal and no bypass flow.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the gasket every time the valve is opened for service or if you notice excessive leakage, reduced flow or valve shifting. Replacing the gasket proactively helps maintain system efficiency and avoids potential damage to the valve body or filter system.
