A Minimum Object Distance (MOD) of 11.81 inches means even more detail in close-up shots.

One aspherical element and one double-sided aspherical element in the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens work together to produce image quality comparable to the Art line of Sigma lenses. An additional high-refractive index, high-dispersion element helps reduce distortion, improving overall image clarity. A Super Multi-Layer coating on the lens elements helps minimize ghosting and flaring, even in harsh lighting conditions.
