Description
Brass wedge assembly designed for use in 3″ Hanover-style anchor sockets (e.g., for pool ladders or handrails). Includes the wedge, mounting bolt and washer for secure and safe deck installation.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits 3″ Hanover-style anchor sockets (Hanover “#30” size).
- Used when existing wedge is worn, corroded, missing, or when re-installing a handrail or ladder post.
- Suitable for both above-ground and in-ground pool decks where the anchor system is appropriately sized.

Installation Notes
Remove ladder/handrail post and extract old wedge assembly from anchor socket. Clean the socket bore of debris and inspect for damage. Insert new wedge into socket key-way, align wedge properly, insert bolt and washer, tighten to manufacturer-specified torque. Re-install post and verify secure fit with no movement.
Maintenance Tip
During annual pool service, check anchor bolts and wedge assemblies for signs of loosening, corrosion or movement. Replace wedge assemblies if you observe post shift, stripped bolt threads or excessive play — ensuring continued safety and rail stability.
