Description
A clear PVC true-union check valve designed to prevent reverse flow in pool and spa plumbing systems. The unit features a spring-loaded flap and a union design so the body can be easily removed for inspection or maintenance without cutting pipe.

Installation Notes

Prime the union nuts hand-tight, then rotate gently to ensure full seating. After installation, inspect for leaks and verify proper check valve closure by momentarily reversing flow (simulate pump shutdown). Maintain forward orientation per flow arrow marked on body.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the valve annually or if system exhibits unexpected backflow, debris entering from return line, or equipment purge issues. Remove the valve body via union nuts, clean any debris, verify spring action and re-assemble. If the clear body appears cracked or heavily scratched, replace the valve to maintain full integrity.
